Corper Spends 1.3Million on Community Development Project (see pic)


A corper, Elesho Rashidat Folashade who is a graduate of the University of Lagos. (UNILAG) has carried out some community projects which costs her a whooping sum of N1.3million.

Folashade, who studied Pharmacy, is an indigene of Lagos State but she served her country at her place of primary assignment (PPA), which is at Dambatta General Hospital, Kano.

Folashade due to her numerous projects, won the Overall Best Corper in Kano State 2015 Batch B.
The projects she carried out include the following:
Renovation of Government Secondary School (G.S.S) Clinic, Dambatta, Kano; Construction of a double-face Digital F.R.S.C Informative Sign Post, Dambatta Unit Command; Donation of Oxford Mathematical Set to Two Hundred (200) Secondary School Students in Dambatta; Empowerment and Skill acquisition training of 200 women and youths in Dambatta on the production of Custard Powder, Methylated Spirit, Liquid Antiseptic (e.g. Dettol), Industrial Detergent, and Liquid Air Freshener.

Construction and donation of 10 sets 4 in 1 twin sitter desk to Universal Basic Education Primary School, Dambatta; Free deworming medical outreach for 400 Pupils of Universal Basic Education Primary School, Dambatta; donation of writing materials (Exercise Books, Biro, Pencil, Eraser, Sharpener, My Clear Bag) to 150 Pupils of Universal Basic Education Primary School, Dambatta; Donation of 400 Insecticide Treated Nets to Members of Dambatta Rural Community.
Donation of Life saving Drugs and Equipments to Dambatta General Hospital and Career Development Program organized for 200 Secondary School Students in Dambatta.

The total amount spent on the project by the corp member is said to be N1,316,600.
