They say when two elephants fight, the grass suffers!!! This aphorism has again proven to be true in Edo State as the two dominating party rivals of APC and PDP clash again. This time, a member of the House of Representatives, Mr Joseph Edionwele, has told Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole to get ready to vacate the State’s Government House in the forthcoming gubernatorial election scheduled for September 10th, 2016.
Edionwele, who represents Esan West/Esan Central/Igueben federal constituency of Edo State, claimed that the non-performance of the APC government in the state had contributed in making the governorship election in the state an easy task for the PDP.
He said: “It is not an issue of how prepared we (PDP) are. In Edo State, we are ready for change. We have passed through a lot of pains and troubles. PDP will certainly take over in September.
“The confidence is that Oshiomhole has not done anything. Nothing has changed. Take it sector by sector. In roads, nothing has changed. In the health sector, nothing has changed. There is no legacy the governor is leaving behind.”
