A Mum who “died” for nearly an hour claims her late husband spoke to her to bring her back to life.
Sonia Burton, 50, had no pulse for 56 minutes as paramedics battled to save her after she had a heart attack at the bingo hall where she works.
The mother of four said: “The only thing I remember is my late husband coming to me and saying, ‘It’s not your time, Sonia. Go back to the children.’ Then I woke up in hospital.”
Sonia said of her chat with hubby John, who died from a heart attack in 2004 aged 37: “It felt very comforting.”
She underwent life-saving surgery and is on the mend at home in Ashington, Northumberland.
Paramedics Stephen Eke, 43, and Jason Riches, 44, who have 50 years’ experience between them, were astonished.
Stephen said: “Neither of us have ever seen somebody come back after that length of time. It’s unbelievable.”
